Death Doula, Advocacy, & End of Life Care

Pink Poppy Flowers

Empathetic care when you need it the most.

Bright Path end of life care offers non-medical support for anyone with a terminal diagnosis, or is simply contemplating death and their relationship to it. We are here to walk with you on that path by providing emotional support, legacy work, vigil planning and comfort care.

At Bright Path we hold space for not only the dying but for their loved ones.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, or are simply in your “winter years” of life – The transition to the next does not have to be sad, dark, bitter, or lonely.

It can be comforting, meaningful, and bright.

Facilitating care, education, and advocacy on all paths:

About Candice

Certified Death Doula | Creator of Bright Path

My name is Candice. I am a mother, teacher, volunteer and a Death Doula. I came to death work by way of a life-altering medical diagnosis. After treatment and positive prognosis, I walked away deeply grateful but also, curious. I felt compelled to re-examine what was important to me versus the actual life I was living.

Working through this on my own prompted many more questions, such as “What would be different if you really accepted that you will die?” and “Why don’t we all talk about death and dying at all”?

At every point of resistance, I felt called back to this work and the questions of life, death and everything in between -- And now, I'm here to walk with you on your journey.
